In this weeks customer story, VSA’s Deputy Chief Executive, John Booth, explains how transitioning to eLearning has created educational and development opportunities for staff, enabling them to deliver the best possible service.

VSA are a proactive charitable organisation and were seeking additional ways to support and provide their vast staff numbers with further personal development, maximizing their learning and development resource, whilst ensuring that compliance was met.

Qintil engaged with the Learning and Development team to determine VSA’s learning culture and educational objectives they had in place. It was critical that the appropriate plan was implemented to roll a project out of this size ensuring little disruption, and also assist in the transition to a new learning medium.

Find out what Deputy Chief Executive, John Booth had to say about VSA’s experience with the Qintil LMS.

"Transitioning to eLearning was an extensive step for us an organisation, however having the support of Qintil and a clear implementation road map enabled us to implement and adopt eLearning successfully without any complications. Our staff were given access to a vast catalogue of engaging courses which were available at any given time, whether at work or home."

Thanks to effective planning, eLearning was welcomed positively by all our staff and has enhanced the educational and development opportunities we can provide to our extensive group, that were not previously achievable. Consequently, this enables us to refocus on our current training department and assist in the better use of time. The success of the program was mentioned when we were awarded Investors in People Gold Status in 2015.

"We continue to work together with Qintil to roll the LMS out across the rest of the organisation this year, in order to continue to develop our learning management systems and competency framework. This enables our employees to be best equipped to deliver the “best of care” to the many thousands of vulnerable people we support."
